The Great Darkness

The biblical recording of a 3 hour period of darkness at the Crucifixion has a significant meaning.

It signifies the entire sins of all mankind being laid upon Jesus, the wrath of All Mighty God poured out on his Son.

The bible says he became sin who knew no sin.

There is only forgiveness of sin through the shedding of Blood, and Jesus was the perfect, ultimate sacrifice to ransom mankind from Hell.

Gods plan being unfolded through the eyes of those who condemmed him to death.

In three hours Jesus took every sin that was ever committed throughout all history, past present and future.

What a feeling to know that when God looks at us in all our sin and unrighteousness, he sees the Blood of Jesus.
